Sales Operations Officer, Information Technology&Services (Brussels)


You'll work for one of Belgium's leading providers of IT products and services. They bring expertise and a global presence with the aim of being your trusted IT advisor. Their goal is to move your technology goals forward whether that is purchasing software licenses or deploying a cloud computing solution. They work closely with some of the world's leading IT manufacturers (Microsoft, Abode, VMware,...) to offer guidance and support. Their dedicated software licensing team provides expertise in purchasing volume licenses. They also offer a growing portfolio of IT services and solutions including software asset management and hosting. This ambitious and dynamic team is looking for a driven and enthusiastic person to join them!



You will assist to provide fast and efficient administrative support and maintain the highest level of customer satisfaction. To respond promptly to internal and external client queries, ensuring compliance of Company policies and procedures.

Your primary tasks are the following :

  • Promptly respond to all client purchase order and queries received into the department via fax, letter, e-mail, web, telephone and Nextdesk tickets
  • Liaise internally and externally to ensure the highest level of service is provided to the client to meet their requirements
  • Progress all existing client issues that are assigned and update the status to the account team regularly
  • Provide administrative support, including producing quotes, as required
  • Ensure all relevant information that is customer specific is updated and noted on the relevant documents and systems
  • Submit and action Next Desk tickets relating to client accounts, quotations and orders 

  • Run simple spend reports for the client and sales by using the CRM tool
  • Ensure orders are shipped to client requirements
  • Work closely with the account teams and account receivable
  • Own all client returns and issues to completion
  • Process orders and queries onto the Insight Order Entry System in a timely manner
  • Maintain existing web catalogues
  • Take an active involvement in team meetings
  • Provide cover to teammates in sales associate roles when out of the office
  • Daily review of backlog reports to ensure orders are shipped in a timely manner and that ‘On Hold’ status orders are reviewed and moved onto the next stage

  • Administration experience is a strong plus
